Description

This was my first foray into jersey… and a pattern! The trickiest part was actually the skinny waist tie. This is based on the Burda Anda dress – I like the pattern’s simplicity and how it drapes. The sleeves actually look better on person than on the dress form. It becomes a nice draped cap sleeve when you wear it.

Material Notes

jersey knit

    Gorgeous! Love the fabric!

How did you find working with jersey?

      Thanks so much!
Luckily, I’ve made friends with the staff at my favorite fabric store, and someone mentioned that I would need to use a ball point needle when working with jersey. Really the toughest part was controlling the fabric to sew the narrow drawstring.
