Banksia_dress_005_large

Description

Spring sewing in 40 degree weather! I made Megan Nielsen’s latest pattern – the Banksia top – but I lengthened it to a dress. I added elastic at the waist, lined the skirt, and changed the sleeve hem a bit.

The fabric isn’t denim; it’s a $3 bedsheet. ;)

More on my blog.

Material Notes

Cotton sheet, interfacing, polyester lining, polyester buttons, 3/4" elastic, bias tape
