What can I say about the mission maxi pattern, other then it is super amazing awesome!! Seriously. Such a great pattern. So simple and easy to make, great instructions and a final product that I am so so so happy with. This is probably one of the comfiest dresses I own. I have worn it for two days straight :P
I made it just using my overlocker, the material is from spotlight. Some sort of jersey cotton polyester blend I think. I forget exactly. But the material feels nice and it pretty thick. And stripes are pretty awesome :D
I think it took me about 4 hours total to make, and I think it could definitely have taken less if I hadn’t messed up on of the sleeve bindings.
So if your thinking about trying this pattern, I heartily recommend it.
You can read a bit more on my blog if you like (http://buttonsandbolts.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/mission-maxi.html) but it pretty much just is more gushing on how great this pattern is, haha :D
