This jacket is based on ‘Tweed jacket’ pattern from ‘Blouses, robes et cie’ by Yoshiko Tsukiori just like my other ‘Japanese sewing inspired jacket’. As I was cutting the fabric I could not help but think of Miss Marple’s (by Agatha Christie) fashion and green lace for more ‘old fashion’ look.

its lovely on you.i love the tartan. i bought some for a coat and i asked my daughter if it looked like miss marple fabric? she said no!! it looks like a picnic blanket lol. i hav’nt used it yet x

i’ve made coats out of curtains and quilt covers before so i’ll ignore what my daughter thinks of the fabric and make the coat lol x
