The costume I wore as Miss Caroline Bingley in my high school’s production of “Pride and Prejudice.” The first few pictures are of the gown when I first finished it, and the last is of the full costume, complete with an added-on-later lace ruffle around the neckline, a ‘turban’ to make my short hair look like an updo, and full hair and makeup.
Brown-and-bronze crosswoven embroidered taffeta for the dress underneath, and gold and sheer stripe for the sleeveless spencer.

Good work on the dress. I played Caroline in a production as well. Great fun.

I love it! It looks exactly like something Miss Bingley would have worn. Did you use a particular pattern?
