Butterick 6699: Misses’/Misses’ Petite Skirt: Semi-fitted, flared skirt, lower-calf or evening-length, has waistband, seams and side zipper. Purchased top.
I love this basic trumpet skirt silhouette. The label states “Fast & Easy” and I absolutely agree. The only thing that gave me pause was the side zipper, so I moved it to the center back seam. The great thing about a skirt with numerous seams is the zipper opening options are just about endless!
I am quite sure that I will be using this pattern again! If you have it in your stash, I would highly recommend giving it a try.

This is a really lovely skirt shape – I just bought the pattern after seeing this. I think the longer version would make a lovely 50’s wedding dress skirt.
