Lately I have become obsessed with fabric origami, creating numerous flowers and other shapes in my free time, yet this is my favorite! I first saw the design on a Derecuny dress I put in my notebook and it took a few hours to get the shape right but I finally figured it out and this was the first piece that looked awesome. I got the fabric from my grandmother’s leftover quilt pieces, and it turned out quite nicely!
Soon I plan to create a little how to on the petals, once I get my act together…
no pattern….just me and a hellalot of patience

Great way to update boring old flower petals. I love it when someone steps out and mixes it up.

Where is it? I thought it was the Make Fabric Origami thing, but that doesn’t look like it.

I accidentally created it as a part of this project, just go to the top of this page and right under the name “mint petals” are two tabs- main, and instructions, et viola!
