I drafted this gored A-line skirt according to the “Metric Pattern Cutting” book. T’was fun and came out well I think! I love the fabric, which I got on sale because it was a leftover at the fabric shop. I used top-stitching thread for the first time – I enjoyed it and I like the result. There’s a mistake at the waistband – it is too straight (should curve more) and also I did the button wrong, but anyway, I am very pleased. More info in my blog. Tell me what you think!

Think this book will become a favorite! “Mistakes” invisible…so time well spent. Pretty and flattering style, too!

Thanks! :-) Even though there are small mistakes I agree you can’t really see them and I did learn from them for next time! I also love the fabric and its color.
