Burda Style For people who sew
Description
i made this skirt for my 8 year old daughter out of a ponte knit. i eliminated the side zip and cut the waistband as one piece and added elastic so she can easily slip it on and off. i also added 2" in length as it was quite short. she loves the skirt! it was very quick to make (under 2 hours from start to finish) and required very little fabric (under 1/2 yd). i do wish my fabric had a little more body, but chances are i’ll be making this again soon.
