Description

This is a mini skirt I wanted to make since last year…
A friend of mine saw it in Claudie Pierlot’s collection (see last picture), but it was very expensive, and she hesitated all winter long… To finally not buy it. I told her I could make it for herself if she wanted to, but she refused.
So! Now winter is back, and I made it for myself!!
I love it, I think it really looks like the original and it is so cute!
I wanted to add pockets, but the skirt is too small…

I’m not really used to mini skirts, but I think it adds to the cuteness of the bow, and also, if I don’t wear mini skirts in my 20’, I’ll never do it!

    Your skirt is better than the original because your bow sits nicer. Well done! And you have the figure to wear mini skirts so go for it!

    This skirt is super cute! Do you mind telling me the dimensions of the rectangles used for the bow? I realize this could vary by size but I just want to get an idea. Thank you

      The finished bow is 33×18 cm, it is as wide as the front skirt: it is attached to the side seams.
      (so the original rectangle for the bow should have been 66×36 cm, I guess!)

      Thanks :)
      I made the pattern myself: a simple skirt block and a big big rectangle for the bow, with a smaller one in the middle. The top points and the center only are attached to the skirt.
      Did you make it already?
