Well I don’t know if there are millions of bows on the dress but there are many… I used Butterick 5672. It said “easy” on the envelope but that is no reason for me to not make it even easier. I didn’t line the dress and I dropped the zipper. The original sleeve length was wierd…it was somewhere above the elbow…so I made the sleeves longer for a more classic look. Usually I have to shorten the skirt (hem should be some inches above the knee) but I prefer it knee-length. Actually the highlight of this dress are the four pleats at the waist (so the dress adjusts automatically to your growing belly everytime you go to the buffet…I tried it out…it works!) The second picture shows a details of the pleats…well I suppose you only see bows…but there are pleats too!
