I made all the three pieces that match together well for a military outfit. Those pieces were made a few years ago but at different times. I thought I could share with you for inspiration. At first I didn’t the military jacket with red piping but, somehow I changed my mind and eventually made it. Before I made it, I was intimidated by the idea of adding piping. Once I tried it, I actually enjoyed doing it.
The white sweater is made of polyester blend if I remember right. It comes with picture instruction in the winter 2011 issue. Can’t find the sweater project in this website.
This no ordinary skirt has drape on front. It actually is comfortable to wear. Easy to make.
Jacket – twill, gold buttons, eyes & hooks, red piping
Sweater- polyester blend
Skirt – maybe cotton, tan zipper, eye & hook
