Description

It was a trial of my new pattern, but while I was working on it, it became a lot nicer than I expected. So I decorated it with velvet ribbons and golden buttons and eventually it came out as a military dress.
French sleeves is so easy to work on. I love that. To make it warm, I attached lining for this dress.

Blogged here.

Great dress! I also love these sleeves (although I didn’t know what’s their name, thanks for that), they always look casual and chic at the same time. And of course, your socks!!! Looks to me that in each of your outfits is a pair of amazing socks, you must have quite a collection :-)

Thank you! Since I started sewing, I don’t buy clothes anymore. But I purchase on socks and shoes instead:D It’s good that socks is not pricey so it’s easy to get a lot of them!

Thank you so much! I used a yoke from a blouse pattern and added sleeves and made skirt with pleats.

It’s so cute. I love velvet ribbon, it makes things look so much more luxurious and the edges are a great sewing guide :)
