Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is a dress that I sew for the midsummer and it’s celebration. It’s white linen dress with gathered skirt, pleats at the hem and the bust and button up closure in the back. It feels very nice when wearing the dress, it’s so loose, light and cool. And I love the brightness of the summer nights in Finland, the photos are taken at 11 pm !

I love the dress. I love the flowers. I love the bright Finland night. I’ll probably never experience the Finland night but I think I could make the dress. Anyway, I’d like to try. What pattern did you start with?

Thank you so much! And you definitely should try, I drafted the pattern myself but I think it’s quite simple :) You could use some basic shirt pattern for the top and the skirt is just a rectangle with pleats.
