The colour of the fabric reminds me of the dark blue sky in a cold winter midnight – so the dress got it’s name. I drafted the pattern myself, and as I took the time and made several muslins this time, it is also the best fitted dress I own so far (of course I plan to get some further best fitted dresses in the future :D). The dress has a more unusual style for me, but I like it, and also the bow! It is stiffened with horsehair so that it keeps its form, and it is the best bow I ever got. Originally, the intention was to get a dress to wear all day, but now, I think it is more suitable for the evening. Never mind, it will get enough wear, though!
