I found this fabric years ago in the local fabric store. It’s a pleated fabric with a print of small black and white flowers. For a long time I didn’t know what I wanted to make with it. But lately pleated midi skirts are back in trend. I really liked them so I thought I’d make my own version.
I used the skirt from the poplin dress 5/2013, made it longer and wider. For the waist I used black elastic, 3 cm wide, and just sewed it on the skirt. I didn’t hem the skirt because the fabric doesn’t fray at all. it was a very easy skirt to make and I love the way it turned out!
