I needed a basic black skirt, so i chose the burda pattern N°113 -01/11 with a nice yoke cut in a sparkling black jersey, i sewed in interfacing , with a black “croquet” to make the cut more visible. The main part of the skirt is made in a charcoal grey fabric from an unknown composition but i think this is mixed with linen because it creases very easily (argh!!!)
I made it low – waisted from 3-4 cm and adjusted the length just above the knees. It is entirely lined with a black checkerboard satin.
