Description

I’m not sure what kind of fabric this is, as I got it from a relative, but it worked well with this pattern. It was very simple to follow, but I decided against doing the detailing around the waist because my topstiching is not the straightest!

Thanks! I think its just the luck of the fabric. It’s a stretchy cotton and then I also did a french seam to connect it to the rest of the skirt, so that helps with the form too I think.

Did you use horsehair braid or something at the hem to make it stand out on its own? Or was that just luck of the fabric? Either way it looks quite nice.
