This is the first garment I make on my own, using the michelle skirt pattern and keeping it simple. The fabric I used was one I found in Petit Coat Lane Market in London, when I was visiting last May. I didn’t put the ribbons because I thought that it would look good with this type of fabric. I found the pattern and the construction really easy, and the skirt fits really nicely, so I am sure I will be doing a winter skirt!!!! (by the way, I don’t know how to link this project to the Michelle Skirt pattern; http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/michelle
African type fabric (from Petit Coat Lane Market, East London)
