I made this using Cotton Voile as I wanted to wear this blouse to work during summer, and cotton is easier to wear than chiffon when it’s 36 degrees outside. I’m happy with how it turned out, except I had a few problems in the making of this blouse, namely:
1. There is a missing piece in the pattern (the waist casing)
2. The instructions for the mysterious waist casing do not exist.
3. The instructions generally were AWFUL and contradictory and confusing and the diagrams did not help things AT ALL. In short, I’ve been making clothes from patterns for 18 years and I have never come across any instructions this bad.
4. I got caught short with the length of fabric required. Next time I’ll get a straight 2 metres.
I intend to make it again, perhaps in a printed cotton voile. Especially now I’ve mastered the pattern.

great fit, the neckline detail catches the eye and the waist casing gives shape without clinging through the hips.
nice sewing!

Nice to see how this blouse looks on a plus model. I am gonna study the pattern and see if I can figure it out?? then I will try on some inexpensive fabric before I use a voile.

Persevere with it, and ask any questions if you have them! It’s a great pattern, just confusing where it doesn’t need to be. A lot of it I worked out without using the instructions at all.
Thank you for your kind words!
