i made these for my boyfriend from a doona cover we found at savers. it was blue with white stripes on one side and white with blue stripes on the other. so we made two!
because the cotton isn’t stretchy like a tshirt it’s not the easiest thing to get in and out of and i had to put in some slits down the side. also i found the neckhole on the pete patten crazy small… did anyone else have this issue?
anyhoo, i think they look really good, and he’s very keen on them.

This makes me really wanna try this pattern. I can’t believe it’s not jersey, I like it a lot

yep, no stretch at all. it’s just regular cotton sheeting. so it’s tight to get on and off but looks good on. i’m not sure why, but i had to make the neck hole at least 2cm bigger at the sides (the lower edge was fine). maybe the medium size has a better fit. yours is great. i love the stitching on the front!

well, I did the project for my boyfriend too and I found the hole pattern really small, so I did it in a Medium size even though my boyfriend is a regular Small. And then I thought the neckline would end up choking him but it didn’t. It’s not wide either… but there’s something I didn’t get from your Tee… the fabric you used is not a knit and it does not strech at all??
