Manhattan, New Y...
I wanted a little bodice top for summertime and when I saw the sewing pattern for this one from the April issue I knew I had to make it. I liked the paneling in the top and how I was able to cut the entire top from scrap spandex that I had. Since I sewed it in spandex I didn’t have to worry about a closure, which made this top quick and easy.
I also added a gathered pinch in the center front of the top. I didn’t plan on this before, but after I tried on the top I played with it and decided it would look cute with one. The style of the top makes it nice for day time with a nice denim jacket…but then the edgy metallic spandex wows for nighttime!
