i am immensely fortunate to have an experienced pattern maker (and lovely woman) for a sewing coach. she even made a mock up based on my doodlings of the bag i wanted to make. i can’t wait to begin!
initial materials purchased total $45: black & tan webbing for two-tone strap, a button for closure (but mostly to be decorative), threads, some kind of suede stuff that was on clearance and BEAUTIFUL ‘sari’ fabric that i hope to have enough scrap of to make a matching cosmetics zipper case to slip into the bag.
