There is a reason I almost never turn down free clothes or material. I’m convinced I will make something out of them eventually. This was made with a wee bit of material from a curtain someone gave me and a sarong/shall type thing that my SIL was going to throw out. I went window shopping and saw all of the pretty maxi dresses and knew I must be able to make something close to that. By far the most airy and cool thing I could wear on a hot day. Someone told me the colors make them think of a mermaid.
