This piece is the second from my fall line, which debuted this past Saturday at the fabulous Local Honey located in Nashville. This line was inspired by my favorite Scale Fabric, so it was not surprise when everything I created turned out looking like something a mermaid would wear.
The dress was completely recreated from a vintage dress I wore on my 21st birthday and had not touched since, so why not recycle! Bodice lined with green cotton, skirt with muslin, and the brown scales are from tulle of course.
This and the rest of my fall line can be found at the shop in downtown Nashville, hooray!

It is such a fresh dress! I am in love with the cleavage. It is very soft, and changes from the usual ones. I am very impressed!

very cute and to make it a little bit warmer for winter, it will be nice if you also make a bolero which fit in it..!
