I just have a regular old Sears Kenmore sewing machine. I use stretch needles when sewing this kind of fabric (you can get these needles for any machine and they are very cheap) and then I use a very small zigzag stitch so it leaves room for stretching. I am no pro, but it seems to work well!

I will put up a how-to when i make a second attempt at this!

Lovely modern look it’s a great idea I think all of us have plenty of old tee we can reconstruct. The fit is great. But I want to know what kind of sewing machine are you using ?because the knit fabrics need special needles and machines (i think so………)

That is very cute. Reconstructing is so much fun, and cheap especially if you have the stuff on hand. do you have a how to?
