Description

I made this shirt from Butterick 4712, a vintage Seventies mens shirt pattern and one of my favorites. I made version “B” for the first time: a mens knit shirt.

I left the buttons off the placket as I really didn’t think they were needed on a summery, open shirt like this.

I also left off the breast pocket.

Can’t wait till it’s warm enough to wear this!

Material Notes

I used a nice quality stretchy blue cotton terrycloth I found in the remainder bin in a store on 35th St. in the Garment District.

Are you able to get them on eBay? Let me know because I can probably send some your way. What size are you?
