Someone (I wonder who…) washed this lamb’s wool sweater with hot water, and it shrunk.
It became a cropped top on hubby…
It was a shame to give it away, after all – it is lamb’s wool.
So I decided to make it mine.
It took a lot of work: taking in at the sides, taking the sleeves apart, and re-engineering the shoulder (from drop-shoulder to set-in sleeves).
With the bow hiding the hook, I think it’s cute!

This turned out beautifully! Well worth the effort and the shrinkage ‘mistake’.
