Description

A-line style skirt refashioned out of an old shirt of my dad’s. Not thrilled with the fabric but I thought it was a very cool way to recycle old fabric into something cute… may try again w/a more fall-like fabric, like a plaid or tweed. Be careful with thin shirts, make sure you decide whether or not to line it before you sew everything (unlike myself haha).

Material Notes

Old men’s shirt, 100% cotton

Thanks for the nice comments :) Yeah I’ve tried this sort of skirt before too, with not much luck, but with the tutorial from MyMamaMadeIt it was pretty easy. Glad you girls like it!

I love it too! I kind of tried to figure this out before, holding a shirt around me, but I couldn’t get it to look right… Now I know what to do! Looks great! Thanks!
