I had bought a men’s dress shirt that had an interesting pattern from Salvation Army for the material, but I had no idea what to use it for. It hung out in my closet for a while until I decided to use the cloth to make a cute purse! I just sorta made it up on my own.
If you use a men’s dress shirt like I did, you don’t have to make an actual shoulder strap. The material of the shirt shouldn’t matter if you line it with something thick like felt.

Thank you! The only problem with the lace sewn to the bottom of the flap is that it gets caught on the velcro I decided to use to secure the flap with, so now it along with the ribbon is getting all frayed and worn. :/
