I used a lightweight cotton voile Marc Jacobs Blue/Gold plaid fabric from Mood to sew up this men’s shirt, based on the Colette Negroni pattern . There are lots of options for variations with this pattern, whether it be pockets and yoke made with fabric cut on the bias (as I did), or pocket shape variations. Great basic men’s shirt. And if you purchase the printed paper pattern, it comes as a bound booklet that will last (no worrying about tearing or losing your instructions!). This is also a great project to practice using flat felled seams – makes your garments look polished inside and out!
