This is a short-sleeve shirt I made from Butterick 4712, a vintage Seventies men’s shirt pattern. It has side vents, a collar with separate collar band, and a bias-cut yoke.
More about this shirt on my blog, Male Pattern Boldness. Lots of challenge with stretch!

I used a very loosely woven, gauze-y plaid cotton that is perfect for summer but stretches very easily. A challenge to work with!

Just a happy coincidence. I hadn’t even realized there was that military green in the shirt till I saw it with the shorts.
