I made these cotton seersucker pajamas from Simplicity 9956, an out-of-print men’s pajamas pattern. The bottoms are supposed to close with a drawstring, but I used elastic instead. To add visual interest, I used three different colors of the same weight seersucker: lavender, pale brown, and gray. I love the result and even though I was never much of a pajamas person, I wear them all the time!
More pajama fun on my blog, Male Pattern Boldness.
I used cotton seersucker for this project, along with some vintage plastic buttons and an elastic waistband.

Sadly the gray and the lavender are tonally very close and hard to photograph — it’s not just your display.
