I love me some thrifting! I bought a handful of XL men’s dress shirts and reconstructed them into shirt dresses.

Thanks! It was actually fairly simple – I took off the sleeves, put the remainder of the shirt on inside out and pinned it to fit me. I traced around the pins with tailor’s chalk, and sewed along my traced lines. I then cut the sleeves to 3/4 length and sewed them back on. Since the shirt was so large I had to cut some of the shoulders off before sewing the sleeves back on. And Tada! The long shoulders worked in my favor for the grey and white shirt – there was enough overhang that the shoulders made for pseudo cap sleeves! I wish i had a before and after to make a real how-to… next time! :)

Nicely done! I like the ways you’ve done the sleeves.
