Left work, had dinner, got home, made a Melissa.
She’s a little racier than the pattern. Taken in generously at the knees and sits low on the hip (instead of a high waist – achieved by using the length of skirt provided in the pattern with a thin waist band turned inside).
This is a great pattern to make, try on, take in, try on, take in a little more, then go out on the town… all in one night.

The fabric (or should I say “fabrics” :-)) is great and makes the skirt even more beautiful than it already is. Love the narrower hem.

Wow – that IS fast! I wish I could complete things as quick as that!!! Go girl!!! That fabric is really cool – did the lace come with it or did you put it over the top of the knit? Love the green tights!

I am glad you like it. I went to the fabric store for a completely different reason (the pink and red project) and came home with this lovely lace overlayed on a knit.

Thanks! The lace is a real weave, not a print, which is great.
