Am loving the design for the skort – although I would make it a little longer for myself (my legs aren’t quite like Gisele Bundchens) but depending on what fabric you use could also be great in the winter.
Will definitely be buying this pattern. thanks!

I love skorts. But I like the front and back to look like a skirt. Other than that, it’s really cute1

This pattern would not make my hit parade. It looks bulky and chunky or it just doesn’t fit her properly…. pockets gap. I like skorts just fine, but they need to be sleeker. Just my opinion.

What comes around, goes around – I know that I made several sets before where the skirt could be buttoned on or off, making them more versatile – also added mix and match options – but this must have been my own variation, since I don’t have a commercial pattern for it anywhere. My daughter loved the look as a way to deal with boys attaching mirrors to their shoes.

making these longer would be a simple fix… i’d prefer a full skirt with the shorts beneath— with the back zip that might be a little tricky to work up.

skorts are amazing – for golf, tennis, and now the running group has them :).
i would like to see these just a tad longer – but an amazing pattern!
thanks!

How retro!
This was a fashion back in the 70’s though it had a flap in the back, too.
I think this would look better as shorts or as a complete skort (front and back flaps.

skirt alone would look very cool

This is what the Ute model is wearing. I like it on the model but it’s not of my age anymore, I think :)

What a great idea,I like this very much, looks very nice! I think I’ll make one for me with an additional panel at the back too,but in elongated version.

I also think that the shorts would be brilliant but am not a fan of skorts.

cute! i wish there was a pic of her lifting up the skirt flap, so i could see what the shorts look like, and if i can make it without the flap!
cause i’ve been wanting to make shorts like these for aaages :D

It has definite potential— I think I’d be more likely to add an additional panel at the back to give it more of an overall skirt look, but I otherwise like it.

This is actually really cute! I’m not much of a skort person, but I think this pattern just might win me over! It’s adorable! (:
