I’ve been working on this edvardian inspired velvet dress for a pretty long time, and I’m happy that it’s finally finished! I had few troubles with the pleats and the sleeves, that I actually had to remove and remake once, but I’m pretty happy with the result:) My friend Noora took these photos in a tiny forest near us, and it was freezing!

Oh, how lovely! I’ve thought of doing something similar myself lately, but I’ve never gotten to it. I’m inspired to find some nice, soft, emerald green velvet now and get started. Did you crochet the collar yourself?

Thank you so much! Although Finland is quite small and isolated country, you can find some really beautiful things and inspiration here, especially from the nature:)
