I bought this piece of fabric for only 2€ and I turned it into the cutest 60s dress. Laure kindly accepted to wear my new dress in the park near our home.

Hello Janene,
I used a pattern from a french book called Mes Carnets de Couture. I think it is quite the same as japanese pattern books. I already tried the pattern for this project : http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/girl-with-ball-meets-liberty-dress
I drafted the collar myself.

I think it’s cute! I’ve always been wary of the peter pan styled collar, afraid that it’ll look too childish. This looked fab, though. I think I’ll give that collar a shot now!
