Description

A short jacket with ruffled trim, a high collar, and a cool curved aperture in the front. I made my own trim by cutting strips of fabric on the bias, folding them over, and gathering it. I used self-faced buttons and added a small hook at the top center of the collar at the neckline to keep it held together. Check out more pictures and more details on my blog at http://anelisemadeit.blogspot.com/2014/04/medieval-matador.html !

Material Notes

I made it out of black velvet with a painted gold pattern.
