I just love dresses that look like maternity ones! you can hide your belly;)
For the bust part I used a pattern from 80s Burda. I closed it with buttons, I prefer them to zippers. Butons look more girly.

I love this you should be really proud. Same as the other comments, I would love to know what pattern – looks a bit like the Maryy pattern but longer. You might like to look up Maryy as it has a similar top but with gorgeous cross over straps and buttons at the back.
The material looks wonderful in the full length dress too – share the pattern!!

Thank you:)
The front might look like Maryy, but it’s different – I used Maryy pattern for my previous dress:) Maybe it isn’t so well seen, but at the front of the bust part there is a bow formed of two pieces of fabric, which are coming from sides of the dress.

It is the pattern from an old Burda, german edition. My mistake, it is actually from May 1978 and the number is 8029, the last photo is from this magazine. I have few Burda’s from 70’s and 80’s and i love them!
