Bay Area, Califo...
After a long week, I decided to “reward myself” and finish up my jacket/cardigan.
I bought the pattern and fabric a while ago, and after months of procrastinating, I decided to “just do it” on Sunday of last week (while everyone was watching the Superbowl). I finished sewing the last stitch yesterday. I don’t really like it as much as my other garments. The bust area and back are waaaaaay to big, the sleeves are loose and puffy, and it’s too short. It would probably fit perfectly for someone a couple sizes larger than me.
Despite all those “flaws,” this is still the best thing I made. I took my time in ironing as I sewed, and I also fully lined the jacket so you can’t see any yucky seams.
twill cotton (main fabric), 100% cotton (lining)
