Virginia Beach, ...
My first time topstitching! I made these a couple of weeks ago using McCall’s 5391, an excellent pattern if you like low-rise shorts. I’d made this pattern once before, so these went together quick. I used a jeans button instead of a hook & eye to give the shorts a more “authentic jeans” look. In retrospect, I should have used heavy-duty thread for the seams, and there’s a couple of little errors, but oh well… you live and you learn. :) More info on my blog, http://sewingandsuch.wordpress.com
