A really nice simple pattern made up in some mystery fabric I bought in a charity shop years ago. The facings are made from silk, as I didn’t have enough fabric. I slightly flared the skirt out from the hip, but other than that, it seemed to fit well straight out of the pattern envelope.
A highly recommended pattern. Does anyone have any good methods of identifying fabric? I’d love to know what this is, it’s really soft and easy to wear and wash, but it’s quite heavy, almost like a wool.
Not sure about the fabric, silk for facings and metal zip.
