Alright guys, let’s be honest, if you look it up, this pattern envelope looks like a trainwreck..seriously. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a show because I wanted a new romper project and thought maybe there a faint hope in this. The pattern suggests a variety of fabric types, including cotton knits. I am usually skeptical of a pattern that claims it can be made with woven or knit..but I really felt this pattern only stood a chance of looking right if it was made in a knit. The pattern is modeled in a horrendously cheap silky polyester mess. So I didn’t go high quality on my fabric – just got an inexpensive cotton interlock print. To my surprise, it turned out way better than expected. I used the halter cowl neck version – just as a warning, the back ends up being very low with this version (sorry there is no photo of this). I had to get creative with my bra situation … which meant I wore a bikini top :) Please give this pattern a chance – it has some solid potential!
