The major plus point for these trousers is also their downfall. They have no zip or buttons so they are so quick and easy to make (hurrah!) what they do have is an elasticated back waist which makes them a tad unflattering on the bum (boo!)
These were a trial version for a pair I am planning to make in Lu Summers Brushstrokes fabric. For the Lu Summers pair I will probably take in the side seams a bit and add ankle zips, I’ll add an extra inch of elastic at the back and will also make sure no one stands directly behind me and looks at my bum.
