I intended to make a version of the Burda Style dress “Shari” that would better fit me! I love the changes I made to the pattern but the dress its self not so much. I think the color combo just does nothing for me. This dress has been sitting on my dummy for four weeks now and I could not get my husband to photograph me in it so it must be that bad!
On the upside It pulls over my body to fit like a glove, I think it fits really well.
Changes I made: I have dropped the back down, Got rid of the zipper, Narrowed the shoulders, Did away with the sleeves, Widened the arm holes

To me the colours look great, not to mention the dress itself – I love the changes you made too! And now that you know what you want changed and how, you can always make another one in the colours you like! And as for this one, you can: a) think of it as a muslin b) leave it on the dress form – after all, the poor “gal” needs something to cover herself with! ;-) Just joking! ;-) The dress looks great and you can always give or sell it to someone! ;-)
