Reusable cloth menstrual pad. The pad itself can be used alone as a pantiliner or one or two inserts may be added for more absorption.
I used the zig-zag stitch to put terry cloth in the center-underside of the pad. I’d made some without this and I’d found that having the terry cloth in the center helps to direct the fluid into the center of the pad and into the inserts rather than seeping into the “wings”.
I used snaps to hold the wings in place.
100% cotton flannel for outside of pad and insert. 100% cotton terry cloth for inside of insert and inside of pad

That’s so clever! I bet it saves a fortune in towels!

Great pattern! I made something similar but used fabric from an old ski jacket for the underside – works great never leaks!

Great idea! Much more eco-friendly too, than throwing all those pantie-liners in the bin. Thanks :)
