Ana Jan’s African dress pattern is awesome. I changed the pattern a bit by adding pockets and lining the whole top half, I used ribbon for the neck tie. I love it, and couldn’t wait to get to the shop for a white zip, hence the green zip….mine is the black and white one and the blue birdy one is for Sarah

Thank you for posting the pictures. Seeing such beautiful creations is so rewarding. I also prefer the black and white version of the dress (that IKEA fabric is breathtaking), though both dresses are very nice. Regarding zipper – I had similar experiences myself ;).
