Description

This is a very simple maxi dress using McCalls 6559. There is only two pieces to cut out and minimal seams. It took me about 2.5 hours to sew.

I really like it. It is comfortable and easy to wear.It still looks stylish in the warmer weather.

Check out my blog.

It’s great and very flattering for your body! I’m short too, but I wear very often maxi dresses.

your dress looks great! I’ve always stayed away from maxi skirts and dresses because I’m short and don’t want to look shorter but after seeing so many beautiful ones i might ry it this summer. i love the fabric you chose!

Thanks! I’m only 5’3" but maxi dresses are so comfortable! I will probably wear this with wedges for extra height.
