Description

I love this pattern from the lovely Tilly over at www.tillyandthebuttons.com
I chose to remove the original vertical tucks as I was using a quilting cotton which was a bit heavier then the creeps and lawns recommended. I couldn’t resist it!
The buttons came from a previously loved cardigan that I managed to bleach. I think they add a nice touch when I turn around.
The sleeves aren’t from the original pattern, but a Simplicity one from 1971 thatI found in my local charity shop. The instructions are unfortunately printed in Swedish.
I’m quite pleased with the facings for this. Sew the wrong side of the interacting to the right side of the fabric, turn out clip and iron. Voila super super neat facings.

Very nice blouse, and I would not have been able to resist that fabric, either!
